The story

Ghost-tour writers say a dark male shape many take to be Poe himself lingers near certain exhibits, especially his walking stick and Virginia Clemm's hand mirror. Two small blond boys are reported in the Enchanted Garden, and some visitors on the staircase salvaged from the Allan family home say they have felt a hand press against their back.

Visitors. Open to the public (museum admission).
