The story

In 1966 and 1967 residents reported a tall winged figure with glowing red eyes, mostly near the old TNT munitions area north of town. After the Silver Bridge collapsed in December 1967, killing 46, later writers cast the creature as an omen, and this museum collects the original witness reports and newspaper coverage.
