The story
Staff at this downtown restaurant treat a 19th-century portrait of Captain Andrew McKeever, hung near the manager's office, as something not to be touched, since moving it is said to bring bad luck. Workers told WSLS in 2022 about shadows passing at the edge of their vision, names called out when no one is near, lights switching off and objects turning up where they weren't left.
