The story
Staff arriving early have smelled cigar smoke in the lobby and bar, credited to founder Colonel Jesse Driskill, and guests describe a gentleman in 19th-century clothing. Tour lore also tells of a senator's young daughter who died falling on the grand staircase while chasing a ball.
