The story
Three ghosts are named at this 1871 saloon: Walter Krause, hurt in an 1885 basement fight that killed him, is blamed for moved drinks, hair pulling, and laughter in German. Owner John Sippel took his life upstairs in 1900 after his marriage to Johanna Gruene broke apart, and she is said to remain on the first floor, while the owner reports slamming doors and footsteps on the roof.
