The story

Staff at the 1924 former Saenger theater credit backstage pranks, like doors swinging open and props moved overnight, to 'Mitch', said to be a former employee who died there. Late-shift workers also describe hearing a full house applauding in an empty auditorium and whispered line readings coming from empty dressing-room halls.

Visitors. Open for ticketed performances; seasonal ghost tours.
