The story
Docents alone downstairs in this Queen Anne house describe heavy, dragging footsteps on the empty upper floor, sometimes with voices or moaning, and one volunteer called the police, who found no one. Visitors on the main staircase report a firm push from behind, and a face has been described at a window from outside.
Visitors. Open to the public Tuesday-Saturday (free; donations welcome).
