The story
Three figures recur in stories about the 1930 Paramount: an older man who leaves a whiff of cigar smoke in the house, a one-time usher glimpsed by the basement stairs, and a woman in white who drifts along the aisles. Staff have even nicknamed a donated portrait of an unknown woman the 'Paramount Ghost', though no one has tied her to a real person.
