The story
Since 1914, people have described a woman in black floating or running across the bridge over the millstream, said in local tales to have been killed there by her husband. A real groundskeeper, Wayne Mentzer, is said to still make his rounds, and the woolen mill's turbine room is considered the most charged spot.
