The story
This 1878 landmark stands over a former potter's field, and construction crews later turned up human remains. Workers have described angry whispers in the maintenance elevator, a ballroom full of laughing people in 1800s clothing who were gone moments later, and a woman's singing voice no one could locate.
Visitors. Open to the public (ticketed performances and tours).
Location note. Built over a former potters field
