The story
The mansion's main ghost is a man in 17th-century Dutch soldier's gear, with a helmet and pike, seen most often on the third floor. The widely repeated account comes from two children who met him in the mid-1900s when their mother ran a rooming house here.
Visitors. Open to the public (house museum; guided tours, occasional ghost hunts).
