The story
Students say the eyes of the portrait of namesake Mary Reynolds Babcock follow them down the hall. Campus custom says residents should greet her when they come in and say goodbye when they leave, and anyone who forgets is said to be blamed for bad weather, small injuries or a bad grade.
Visitors. Campus grounds open; dormitory interior restricted to residents and guests.
