The story
Visitors to this 1781 battlefield describe figures in Continental or British uniforms appearing at dusk along the tree lines where the armies stood, and some say they have seen apparitions near the monument clearings. The stories come mainly from local ghost tours, and the Park Service does not allow night investigations.
