The story
In the mid-1960s a student blacked out in the fourth-floor bathroom, hit his head on a sink and died of pneumonia about a week later. Campus tradition, passed along by the student paper and tour guides, says later residents saw a young man's reflection behind them in the mirror and water running red from the faucet.
