The story
The theater's resident spirit is Clara Bicknell Hodgin, a minister's wife and Sunday-school teacher who died in 1905 and is memorialized in the building's Tiffany window. Staff credit her with lights and equipment switching on by themselves and a charged feeling in the building, and some say her name along the bottom of the window sometimes looks smudged or unreadable, as if a child's hand had brushed across it.
