The story
Pipe tobacco smell in the gentlemen's parlor is credited to builder John Alexander Klein, and Elizabeth Klein is said to glide down the main staircase in a long dress. The ballroom has its own accounts of late-night screams, breaking glass and music tied to a later owner's daughter.
