The story
Staff at Jefferson Davis's retirement home have described a full-figure apparition in period dress in the main hall, which longtime docents attribute to Davis himself. During a 2014 investigation carried out with the site's cooperation, investigators reported unexplained audio and rocking chairs in the house moving on their own overnight.
