The story
Open since 1909, this is Springfield's oldest working theater, and a 1920 fire that gutted its stage killed no one despite later legend. Over a century of shows, people have reported an apparition on the fourth floor, green orbs in the balcony, the sound of babies crying in empty seats, and high heels clicking through the lobby.
Visitors. Open to the public (ticketed Springfield Little Theatre performances).
