The story

A kamikaze strike on April 11, 1945 killed 38 men aboard this destroyer, and most reports come from the crew spaces where they lived. Visitors describe shadowy sailors in 1940s dungarees and watch caps in the passageways, and even arms and legs briefly passing through walls.

Visitors. Open to the public (museum ship; admission fee).
