The story

Witnesses in the only home Lincoln ever owned describe skirts rustling through empty rooms, rocking chairs moving on their own and lavender scent in the parlor, Mary Todd Lincoln's favorite. Some researchers think the woman seen here is Mrs. Lucian Tilton, who rented the house during the war.
