The story
Opened in 1893 for World's Columbian Exposition visitors, the hotel has piled up more ghost lore than any other Chicago building. Tales include a phantom bride on the upper floors, knocks on doors with nobody in the hallway, and a one-legged spirit nicknamed Peg Leg Johnny.
Visitors. Open (operating hotel; lobby bar open to the public).
