The story
Iowa's 1842 territorial and state capitol is now a free University of Iowa museum. An after-hours paranormal team said artifacts shifted and lights came on in locked rooms, and late workers describe footsteps and low voices in closed areas, often blamed on a restoration worker whose death no record confirms.
Visitors. Open to the public (free museum).
