The story
Fairview is home to the Black Angel, the 1918 Ruth Anne Dodge Memorial sculpted by Daniel Chester French, which is wrapped in curse legends. Visitors say the angel's eyes follow them and describe drifting lights, a feeling of being followed, and photos that come out ruined.
