The story
The 1856 Williams House is known for friendly activity, mainly laughter and conversation drifting out of an empty dining room. Witnesses on the main staircase describe a man and a woman coming down who meet their eyes and then vanish, and a woman is said to appear briefly in a period mirror near the stairs.
