The story
One grave reads simply 'Charles Owen Hanged 1882,' for a man lynched by a Tampa mob, and visitors claim to see the shadow of a hanging figure among the oaks near it at sunset. Tour stories also place cigar pioneer Vicente Martinez Ybor, who is buried here, walking the grounds at night.
