The story
Two silent figures are said to haunt this grand hotel, empty since 2016: a mustached man in period dress, linked by locals to Mayor Forrest Lake, whose financial ruin the building represents, seen walking away down dark upper hallways. The other is a woman in white on the ground floor after dark, often reported along with soft piano music in a building that has long been quiet.
