The story
The best-known spirit here is Aunt Sally, sometimes identified as Sarah Jane Lowe, the wife of Charles Curry, who is felt around the kitchen along with a smell of baking. Second-floor guests have woken to a woman in period dress folding linens at the foot of the bed before she fades away.
