The story
Stories passed along by local tour guides center on the plot of the Sisters of Saint Joseph who died in the 1877 yellow fever epidemic, where people claim to hear singing and smell incense around twilight. The oak-shaded older section, dating to the Spanish era, draws reports of cold spots and the feeling of being watched.
