The story
Staff call the spirit here Ada, said to be a young Packer relative who died of scarlet fever upstairs in the 1800s, and they report a child's laughter, a girl running between rooms, and a waving figure at an upper window. Some also mention a captain's figure and mugs moving on the bar, and the pub named a cocktail after Ada.
