The story

Opened in 1873 as a stagecoach stop and later grown into a grand resort, the Cliff House is tied to a sad 1913 robbery. A night watchman named Albert was shot after refusing to open the safe and died two days later, and the story goes that he still walks his rounds, especially around the anniversary.
