The story
Campus lore, reported by the student paper, says a staffer remembered as Carmen used to slip into a service area by the elevator shaft to drink, then died in a car crash after leaving work one night. Night staff on the older first and second floors have blamed her for a fridge door that opens on its own, rattling door handles and a broom seen sliding across a closed room in the 1980s.
