The story
Built in 1863, this sailing ship lost a young stowaway, John Campbell, who fell from the rigging in 1884 and died days later. Visitors near the mast report the touch of a cold hand, and some say they smell fresh bread in the long-cold galley or see hanging pots sway while the ship sits still.
Visitors. Open (museum ship; Maritime Museum hours).
