The story

Sister M. Irenita, who taught at the academy beside the cathedral, died in 1931, and boarding students later described a nun walking the halls at night. Folklore says around 1936 her apparition asked a parishioner to remind the monsignor of a Mass he owed her, and the sightings reportedly stopped once it was said.

Visitors. Open to the public (active cathedral; respect Mass times).
