The story
Visitors on Santa Barbara Ghost Tours describe friars in brown robes gliding across the grounds, Spanish soldiers in colonial armor and the sound of Chumash chanting. One of the oddest recurring reports is the smell of horses where the Spanish-era cavalry corral once stood.
