The story
Night workers and truck drivers on this stretch tell of a barefoot woman in a short white dress standing silently at the roadside, who then shows up in the driver's rear-view mirror sitting in the back seat. Some accounts say drivers lost control afterward, and others mention a young Native American girl seen on full-moon nights and screams heard in the dark.
