The story
Most of the reports at Colton Hall come from the old jail wing, where visitors describe moaning and choking sounds in the cell block, cold spots in particular cells and a sense of being watched. On the main hall's second-floor balcony, people hear deliberate pacing when the upper floor is known to be empty, which some tie to men sentenced here when it served as a court.
