The story
Staff and guests on the hotel's fourth floor describe a child crying or laughing, cigarette smoke in non-smoking rooms, cold spots, a weight settling onto the edge of the bed and elevators calling themselves to empty floors. The lore ties it to a young girl said to have died on the property before the 1915 hotel was built, and the resort began running its own haunted history tours in 2023.
