The story

Docents opening up in the morning report a woman in period dress at a second-floor window, linked by local tradition to Caroline Richards, who died in childbirth in 1867. Upstairs in the Boys' Room, kept with antique toys, staff and visitors have heard children's voices and small running footsteps.
