The story

The Red Dog's resident spirit is a playful one: Professor Phineas Poon, a piano player from the saloon's early days whose ashes are said to sit in an urn above the bar. Staff and Juneau ghost walks blame him for small bits of mischief around the room, a lighthearted legend with no tragedy attached.
