The story
Built in 1892 as the home of Charles and Kate Eisenbeis, the castle is now a hotel. Its best-known ghosts are a monk or preacher said to have hanged himself in Room 302 and a young woman who leapt from the window of Room 306 after hearing her lover was lost at sea.
