The story

Ghost tours say the Rev. Nicholas Okeson, rector here for twenty-six years until he died in 1882, still makes his rounds in the churchyard where he is buried. Parishioners and visitors have also described a shadowy figure near the altar in quiet hours, and both presences are described as gentle.

Visitors. Open to the public (active church; churchyard free).
