The story

A man in a top hat and cloak said to pace the back garden is linked to Richard Bowden, who was shot and killed on the property by Samuel Myers in 1811, a death recorded in court records. Tour guides also mention a Lady in Black who walks the second-floor halls and passes through closed doors.
