The story
Most stories at this 1785 Lee family home date to its time as a Union hospital, when soldiers died inside. Staff and visitors report a woman in 19th-century dress on the second floor, often linked to a hospital nurse, and a woman with a small child on the back steps to the garden in the late afternoon.
