The story
The Tudor-style railroad hotel's best-known ghost is the Lady in Black, a woman in Victorian mourning clothes seen gliding along halls and stairways, whom witnesses describe as calm rather than frightening. One sick guest said a woman sat on the edge of the bed and stroked their hair before vanishing, and people also mention shadow figures near the windows of the ballroom.
