The story

Built beside the Alamo in 1859, the Menger is said to host dozens of documented ghosts. The best known is Sallie White, a chambermaid killed by her husband, seen in uniform carrying towels she never delivers, while King Ranch founder Captain Richard King is said to pass through the wall into the King Suite.
