The story
In 2004, more than 700 graves of the forgotten Campo Santo Viejo cemetery turned up under the courthouse parking area. Security guards and janitors have since tied unexplained footsteps and sounds in the building to those dead, and the Brownsville Historical Association now features the site on its haunted-history tour.
