The story
Visitors at this 1816 home describe rocking chairs moving with no one in them, cold spots, and the smell of cooking in an empty kitchen. Staff and guests have also reported a man and woman in early 19th-century clothing walking through the house, often identified as Colonel Robert Patterson and his wife.
