The story
Of all the old buildings at Historic Richmond Town, this house carries the richest ghost tradition: figures in period dress, voices and footsteps with no source, and sounds like a child moving through the rooms. Investigators say toys and candy left as test objects turn up moved, and the activity is usually credited to Elizabeth Lake-Tysen and to children who died in the house.
Visitors. Part of Historic Richmond Town museum village (admission; seasonal ghost tours and paranormal events ticketed separately).
