The story
Staff and visitors describe a lady in white, often identified as Reubena Hyde Walworth, a nurse who died of typhoid in 1898 and whose family rooms are on the third floor. Reports include cigar smoke, cold drafts and hair-pulling, and a 2007 tour group said a woman in Victorian dress spoke to them and then vanished.
