The story
La Fonda stands on what is called the country's oldest hotel corner, and nearly a dozen ghosts are said to have checked in over the centuries. A judge shot in the lobby wanders in a long black coat, a bride murdered on her wedding night still appears, and in La Plazuela restaurant a salesman who drowned in the old well is seen walking toward it before vanishing into the floor.
